Hey Gang! It's been an exciting few days for comic book movie nerds and here's the latest!
Former Green Lantern Ryan Reynolds has tweeted our first real glimpse into his next super hero project: Deadpool. The costume design is perfect with the classic black and red uniform with what looks like plenty of pockets and pouches. Pouches! Nice little nod to its creator Rob Liefeld. The uneven eyes on the mask are a nice touch as well and allows for the character's signature wackiness to shine through. Hopefully, like in the comic his eyes will shift and change in the film. We should expect to see Deadpool hit theaters February 12th, 2016.
BATMAN '66 Animated Movie
At the Mad Monster Con in Charlotte, North Carolina 60's Batman stars Adam West and Burt Ward announced that they or rather their voices would return for a full 90 minute animated Batman. The film is being produced in part of the celebration of its 50th anniversary! Expect the signature twirling Batman logo scene segues, bright costumes and Pow! Piff! Boom! to explode across your screen! Maybe even a Cesar Romero like Joker, mustache and all?
Wolverine: One Last Time
Hugh Jackman hinted on his Instagram account that he will be suiting for Wolverine "One last time". This is a reference to his next Wolverine solo film. Though it is unclear whether Jackman will have a cameo in X-Men: Apocalypse. His mutton chops, furled eyebrows and claws will certainly be missed. There is no doubt that Wolverine will be the next Batman or Bond with future actors to take on the part but no one will do it better than Jackman.
